The Opportunity
The Analyst will work with the team to support company leadership on a wide range of strategic and organizational projects. This role is a challenging, high-paced role and will require the highest levels of analytical, communication, and project management skills with a deep commitment to seeking the best outcomes for BGO’s clients and employees.
What You Will Do

Key contributor in the preparation of strategic and financial insights including, but not limited to, annual budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and other ad hoc financial analysis

One of the leads for Assets Under Management reporting and other periodic KPI reporting

Maintain complex financial models as required

Manage and analyze large data sets from various internal sources to drive insights

Take a role in research, quantitative analysis, and development of communications materials for senior management and other senior stakeholders

Liaise and build trusted relationships with functional teams from across the firm while completing various tasks and projects
-
Embrace and pro-actively support BGO's culture of environmental sustainability, and corporate and social responsibility

Drive process improvement and standardization within FP&A
Who You Are
-
Education – Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce or equivalent plus a professional designation strongly preferred (CPA, CFA and/or MBA)

Experience: A strong track record of success over two to four years of experience in a top tier management consulting firm, investment bank, accounting firm or similar environment. Previous experience in financial planning and analysis or exposure to the financial services sector preferred

Excel and Financial Modeling Skills – Advanced expertise in Excel required and the ability to build dynamic financial models preferred

Power Query: Experience with Power Query viewed favourably

PowerPoint Skills – Ability to prepare PowerPoint presentations for senior management and investors

Analytical and Strong Attention to Detail – Quick learner with exceptional analytic and problem-solving skills combined with a strong attention to detail; filtering information based on priority, relevance & other critical factors

Organizational/Multi-Tasking Skills - Ability to allocate one's time effectively, work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and maintain accuracy of work; ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities; ability to adapt to new ideas and constant changes

Relationship Skills – Well developed written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills; ability to develop and sustain strong working relationships with senior business leaders; ability to exercise strict confidentiality
The Expected Base Pay Range: $75,000 – $85,000. The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. BGO values the contribution of our employees and our compensation structure may vary based on the geographical location of successful candidates, as well as their experience, skills or qualifications. In addition to base pay, eligible BGO employees participate in various incentive compensation plans, based on individual and business performance as well as a broad range of competitive benefits.
