About the role

Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person. Work

primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.

Are you a strategic financial leader with a passion for process improvement and

team mentorship? The Finance Partnership Network is seeking a collaborative and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Partner, you will provide leadership and mentorship to a team of 8–10 Financial Analysts supporting the University's Finance Partnership Network.

In this pivotal role, you will strengthen financial administration by

identifying process improvements, supporting research post-award activities, developing standardized reporting templates, and creating tools to enhance budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and serve as the primary point of contact for complex financial matters and team escalations. Through your leadership, you will help deliver consistent, high-quality financial services that support the University's strategic priorities.
