Nos attentes

L’analyste comptabilité agit à titre d’expert dans son domaine et supporte les autres membres de l’équipe ainsi que les employés en magasin. Vous travaillerez au niveau de la comptabilité du commerce de détail et en ligne à concilier les ventes et paiements reçus des clients et préparer les conciliations bancaires. Vous serez impliqué dans divers projet d’amélioration de processus pour simplifier et améliorer l’exactitude des résultats. Vous contribuerez à la préparation et à la fiabilité des données financières, procéderez à la conciliation de certains postes de bilan ainsi qu’à l’analyse des dépenses et expliquerez les variances. De plus, à titre d’analyste comptabilité, vous soutiendrez l’équipe dans la préparation des états financiers et rapports de gestion.

Le rôle

  • Réconcilie les ventes des systèmes comptables aux dépôts reçus quotidiennement;
  • Prépare les conciliations bancaires et investigue les écarts inhabituels;
  • Procède aux écritures comptables et établi les courus manquants en fin de mois;
  • Prépare et documente la conciliation des postes bilans dont il est responsable dans les délais prévus;
  • Établi et documente les provisions comptables pour son domaine d’expertise;
  • Procède à l’analyse des résultats en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe FP&A;
  • Participe à l’optimisation et l’automatisation des processus;
  • S’assure que le contrôle interne est approprié et parfaitement respecté ;
  • Participe à divers projets spéciaux (de façon ponctuelle).

Les compétences que nous recherchons

  • Formation universitaire de premier cycle en comptabilité
  • 3-5 ans d’expérience dans un poste similaire.
  • Titre de CPA, un atout.
  • Connaissance de l’industrie de la vente au détail, un atout.
  • Maîtrise des applications de la suite MS Office, particulièrement Excel, niveau avancé
  • Expérience avec les logiciels de comptabilité, Oracle / EBS, un atout
  • Excellentes compétences en communication, à l’oral et à l’écrit, en français et en anglais
  • Rigueur, attentionné aux détails et capacité à synthétiser l’information financière.
  • Capacité à bien établir et gérer les priorités au sein d’un environnement de travail rapide et en changement.
  • Esprit analytique et proactivité
  • Capacité d’établir des relations de travail positives avec tous ses collaborateurs.

Our expectations

The Accounting Analyst acts as an expert in his field and supports other team members as well as employees in our corporate stores. You will work in retail and online accounting to reconcile sales and payments received from customers and prepare bank reconciliations. You will be involved in various process improvement projects to simplify and improve the accuracy of results. You will contribute to the preparation of reliable financial information, reconcile certain balance sheet accounts, analyze expenses, and explain variances. In addition, as an Accounting Analyst, you will support the team in preparing financial statements and management reports.

Your role

  • Reconcile sales from accounting systems to settlement reports on a daily basis
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate unusual variances
  • Perform month-end accounting entries and establish missing accruals
  • Prepare and document other balance sheet accounts reconciliations for which he is the designated owner within the specified timeframe
  • Establish and document accounting provisions for his area of expertise
  • Analyze financial results in close collaboration with the FP&A team
  • Participate in the optimization and automation of processes
  • Ensure that internal controls are appropriate and fully respected
  • Participate in various special projects (on an ad hoc basis).

The qualifications we are looking for

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • CPA designation (an asset)
  • Experience in the retail industry (an asset)
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel)
  • Experience with accounting systems such as Oracle / EBS (an asset)
  • Strong communication skills, French and English fluency, both spoken and written
  • Rigor, attentive to details and ability to synthesize financial information
  • Ability to establish and manage priorities in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Analytical skills and proactivity
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and multi-stakeholder collaboration skills
