Senior Account Manager

Vancouver, BC or Calgary, AB | $80,000 - $90,000

A growing security services organization is seeking a Senior Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of security service contracts and client relationships across the region. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional from the security industry who understands the realities of contract security operations and has a proven track record managing client accounts, site teams, and service delivery. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for clients while working closely with Operations Managers, Site Supervisors, and frontline security personnel to ensure service excellence across multiple accounts.

The Role

This is a highly visible, relationship-driven position focused on the management and retention of security service contracts. You will spend significant time meeting with clients, visiting sites, supporting operations teams, and ensuring contractual commitments are being delivered to a high standard. This is not a behind-the-desk account management role. The ideal candidate enjoys being in the field, solving problems, building relationships, and supporting operational teams.

You Will Be Responsible For

Managing a portfolio of security services accounts and contracts Serving as the primary point of contact for clients Conducting regular client meetings and site visits Supporting Site Supervisors and Operations teams to ensure service excellence Addressing client concerns and resolving escalations Coordinating staffing and operational support when required Monitoring account performance and contract compliance Driving client retention and long-term relationship growth Ensuring service delivery aligns with client expectations and contractual requirements Building strong relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders

Ideal Candidate

3+ years of account management, operations, or leadership experience within the contract security industry Experience managing security guard contracts and client accounts Strong understanding of security operations and service delivery Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships Experience working closely with Site Supervisors, Operations Managers, and frontline personnel Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Highly accountable and capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for client and site visits
