Full Job Description Job Title: Engineering Manager Location: Calgary, AB (on-site) Employment Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00/annum
Start Date: Immediately
Position Overview We are seeking a driven and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our research and development (R&D) initiatives and oversee product testing, commercialization, and integration with manufacturing operations. This function will oversee and ensure products, services and processes meet internal and external quality standards. This leadership role is essential for ensuring the smooth execution of technical projects and driving continuous improvement across the organization and managing available resources and department budget.

Key Responsibilities
- You are expected to adhere GEO PSI's core values at all times.
- Collaborating with other departments to identify development priorities and incorporate feedback on desired product improvements.
- Lead and coordinate daily R&D activities, managing engineering specialists including employees or consultants.
- Oversee product testing processes and guide the transition from development to commercialization.
- Develop, train, and implement work instructions for the manufacturing team.
- Collaborate with external consulting firms to support audits and maintain compliance with ISO, API, and other standards.
- Manage the product support group, ensuring effective technical assistance for customers and manufacturing operations.
- Foster a culture of accountability and performance, resolving conflicts constructively and promoting team ownership.
- Manage department budget and coordinate R&D expenditures and reporting
- Develop a program for customer facing quality documents

Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in engineering management, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflict and drive accountability.
- Technical fluency in electrical, mechanical, and firmware/software concepts.
- Experience with ISO, API, or other regulatory standards is an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
