Dare Foods Milton has an opening for 1 (one) B Shift Panner/packer. The successful candidates will work as a panner/packer when required. This is an 8-hour shift, 2PM- 10PM Monday to Friday. Wage: $28.71
Responsibilities and requirements:
You will be responsible for panning candy products. This includes making syrup flavors and colours, measuring and mixing ingredients, lifting trays of product and dumping them into pans, performing quality checks, emptying the pans onto trays, working in packaging when required and other duties as assigned.

Ensuring safety is a priority when performing all tasks.

Must possess a strong ability to overcome and solve problems, troubleshooting issues and work well under pressure.

Must be physically able to handle all aspects of the position.

Must be willing to work overtime when required.

Must be mechanically inclined. Previous experience in packaging machinery would be considered an asset. Must be aware of all GMP, SQF, HACCP and quality requirements.

Must be quality driven.

Must possess a positive team attitude.

Any math and computer skills would be an asset

Carry out any other assignment deemed necessary to ensure a safe, clean and efficient operation.
