Pay Range

Commensurate with Experience.

This position is responsible for the planning and delivery of operational efficiency for integrated scheduling coordination across personal support, nursing and rehab services within Integrated Client and Community Care. This position provides operational leadership for the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Intake and Information Management Support (IIMS), Integrated Care Programs, Team Assistants, Team Leads, full-time Nursing and Rehab Coordination teams and all part-time Coordinators. Integrated Operations Supervisors also oversee and participate in the ongoing implementation and improvement of the After-Hours and On-call services provided by the Integrated Client and Community Care Department. The role ensures alignment with operational targets, centralized scheduling for all operations teams, enhances workforce deployment, supports system-wide operational and scheduling effectiveness, and service integration.

Key Areas of Accountability:

  • Responsible for planning and delivering on operational efficiencies, and the advanced centralized completion of schedules for all Coordinators, ERT, IIMS, Team Assistants, Team Leads.
  • Provides leadership and oversight for cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and compliant scheduling, addressing staff inquiries, coordinating absence coverage, and making strategic staffing decisions to maintain optimal workforce coverage.
  • Ensures the performance and compliance of scheduling systems and processes, identifies and addresses operational issues, and monitors key performance metrics to ensure targets and service standards are met.
  • Leads and supports continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling, operations, and care coordination by collaborating with other leaders, ensuring quality metrics are met, and streamlining scheduling processes.

Key skills, experience and behaviors required for this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Services.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a home care environment.
  • Previous scheduling experience in a 24/7 environment preferably with Automated Scheduling Systems.
  • Advanced computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Report Generation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and best practices in scheduling and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to motivate, develop and manage the performance of 25 or more direct reports.
  • Previous supervisory experience an asset.
  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in GoldCare, HPG and On Demand Call Centre technology.
  • Experience in a unionized environment.
  • Experience managing people in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work weekends as needed and provide on-call support.
