Job Description The Account Manager (RB Capital Solutions) is the front line for originations, facilitating outbound calling / marketing campaigns / contact with potential customers to identify-qualified opportunities for RB Capital Solutions follow-up. In this role, the Account Manager is responsible for creating interest in RB Capital Solutions services, identifying opportunities based on qualification criteria (e.g. nature of loan request, obtaining a general understanding of potential customers’ asset / debt stack), and setting qualified appointments. Key strengths for this role include delivering exceptional customer service, thriving in a “hunter“ cold call environment, ability to clearly articulate the RB Capital Solutions value proposition, recognizing triggers / asking associated probing questions, and upholding professionalism and brand integrity in every interaction.
This role will contribute to growing the RBCS origination pipeline via the following primary responsibilities:
- Sustaining a high daily call and other (e.g., email based marketing) outbound effort rhythm to different internal and external lead sources
- Introduce, educate, and create interest in asset-based lending solutions to internal and external customers
- Set introductory appointments with prospective clients and the RBCS team; ensuring a warm handoff is essential
This role requires excellent communications skills, including articulation of a value proposition, asking the “right” questions, and driving preliminary interest for further customer dialogue and exploration of potential capital solutions options
The role offers a base compensation starting at $70,000 CAD annually plus incentive pay. The anticipated OTE would fall between $90,000 & $100,000 CAD.

- Make a minimum of 40-50; outbound calls per day; depending on target market could be higher at times.
- Effectively manage multiple lead funnels, including call, mail and email.
- Adhere to a call structured cadence (first touch, follow-up, re-engagement) until appointment is set or declined.
- Quickly determine whether the prospect meets basic qualification criteria (is this a $5k opportunity or $5MM?).
- Ask targeted questions to identify needs, urgency and strike-zone alignment including company profile, fleet size or asset base, financial position and urgency.
- Secure introductory meetings by positioning the value of speaking with senior leaders.
- Highlight any indicators of distress, pressure or urgency the client may have.
- Confirm appointment and provide overview for RBCS management.
- Flag high-priority on time-sensitive leads to relevant team members.
- Track call volume, connection rate, appointments set, show rates and conversions.
- Provide summary updates to sales management and leadership.
- Follow-up with potential customers, as appropriate, with relevant information and materials
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business or related field required or equivalent experience

Financial Accreditations preferred.

Minimum of 3 years in B2B or B2C sales experience. Including outbound calling and a history of executing multi-channel customer outreach strategies.

Strong experience in lead generation & prospecting

Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills; able to clearly articulate value proposition and understand customer needs.

Demonstrated success in building rapport and trust with prospects in Cold-call setting

Proficiency in CRM systems and tracking performance Metrics
