POSITION SUMMARY
The New Product Development Parts Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, communicating and documenting all actively between the Prototype Shop, Engineering and our external/internal suppliers.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Issue PO requests for Prototype Shop parts, services and outside contractors
• Order of parts for all Prototype Shop Engineering projects
• Obtains quotations from vendors for prototype parts to ensure favourable quality, price and delivery terms
• Assist with scheduling contractors for shop maintenance
• Responsible for shipping/receiving and the coordination of parts material deliveries
• Other administrative duties as required
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience related to the essential functions
• Must have demonstrated experience with MRP Systems (Oracle)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills with an eye for detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high demanding fast paced work environment
• Experience with Share Point Proto Shop Work Request is considered an asset
