Our Strategic Advisory practice is a key part of our strategy that can take us in some pretty amazing directions, and as the Principal, Solutions & Growth, you’ll have your hands on the wheel as we deliver impactful results across a wide range of industries and solution areas.
As the Principal, Solutions & Growth, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client partnerships—identifying, designing, and delivering strategic solutions that address critical business challenges. You’ll combine business development expertise with strategic solution design to convert prospects into long-term clients, oversee onboarding and delivery for newly acquired accounts, and expand relationships to maximize value across Bond’s full suite of offerings.
This role is about growth, leadership, and results—leveraging Bond’s diverse capabilities in areas such as marketing strategy, research and insights, experience design, training and enablement, technology solutions, and innovation partnerships.
What you’ll do:
Lead client opportunity development
- Act as a trusted senior client partner, leveraging your expertise in business development, marketing, and relationship growth to qualify leads and nurture prospect relationships.
- Engage in collaborative problem-solving with clients, identifying how Bond’s solutions can address their challenges and achieve their objectives.
- Manage the sales pipeline for new and recently acquired clients—forecasting revenues, tracking timelines, and reporting regularly to leadership.
- Introduce prospects to the right solution leaders within Bond based on their needs, ensuring seamless collaboration and fostering long-term growth.
Solution Development
- Bring together the right expertise from across Bond to design, pitch, and deliver solutions that drive client success and open the door for expanded services.
- Develop solution, pricing, and go-to-market strategies in partnership with practice leads, crafting proposals that clearly define objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success measures.
- Guide the pursuit strategy, coach teams on winning approaches, and ensure Bond’s value proposition is clearly positioned in competitive markets.
- Facilitate smooth collaboration when opportunities align with solution areas outside your own expertise, ensuring clients receive the best-fit support.
Manage your clients
- Oversee onboarding and delivery excellence for newly acquired clients, ensuring alignment between client needs and Bond’s capabilities.
- Maintain open communication with delivery teams across multiple practices, providing thought leadership during execution and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and position Bond’s broader capabilities to address evolving client needs.
Account growth planning & execution
- Own the growth strategy for assigned new accounts in their first year, with a focus on expanding relationships and transitioning them into long-term partnerships.
- Connect the dots across solution areas, ensuring that one successful engagement leads to the next.
- Activate Bond’s breadth of capabilities and innovation partners to deliver measurable impact.
- Meet quarterly and annual growth targets, managing financial performance for your portfolio of accounts.
What you’ll have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and senior-level experience in business development, consulting, or agency leadership across multiple solution domains.
- 10+ years in a client-facing role with direct responsibility for revenue achievement, account growth, and new business development with major brands.
- Proven track record of winning and growing complex accounts through strategic solution selling.
- Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, proposal development, and competitive positioning.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to influence in a matrixed environment and gain buy-in at multiple organizational levels.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under aggressive timelines.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to expand client relationships across diverse service offerings.
- Financial acumen to manage revenue forecasts, costs, profit margins, and reporting to executives.
