About the role
JJ Cabinet Warehouse is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and organized Warehouse Worker to join our growing team. This position plays an important role in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly through shipping/receiving, inventory organization, loading assistance, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, takes initiative, works well with others, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving
- Handle shipping and receiving of products and materials
- Receive shipments in the system using warehouse software
Warehouse Operations
- Assist loaders and help customers with loading orders
- Sort and organize inventory including incoming shipments
- Pull kitchens for assemblers to build
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory organization
Facility Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Handle recycling and garbage disposal both inside and outside the building
- Manage garbage in reception, offices, washrooms, assembly area, and warehouse
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet throughout the day
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse software systems
- Forklift experience is considered an asset but is not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
