Senior Manager, Member Strategy Development
on a permanent basis.
You’ll shape member engagement and enablement strategies for the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS), working closely with leaders to turn complex opportunities into clear, actionable direction. Because the work spans many business areas, this role is ideal for someone who listens first, absorbs nuance quickly, and knows how to balance vision with practicality. This hybrid role requires weekly on-site presence at our Saskatoon home office. Applicants must be based in Saskatoon or elsewhere in Saskatchewan with the ability to travel to Saskatoon.
What you’ll do:
Lead the identification, prioritization, and development of long
‑
range member
‑
impacting strategies grounded in strong analysis and organizational insight.
Build clear, evidence
‑
based business cases and initiative briefs to secure alignment, resources, and approvals from senior leaders and stakeholders.
Facilitate collaborative, cross
‑
functional strategy design that engages FCL leaders, SMEs, and local Co
‑
op leaders to ensure shared ownership.
Transition strategies into execution by coordinating handoff, supporting early implementation, and defining performance measures.
Advise leaders as a senior strategy SME, strengthening enterprise-wide strategic thinking, analysis, member understanding and value orientation.
Who you’ll work with:
You will report to the Director, Member Relations Engagement and be part of a supportive, high performing team that delivers through collaboration and continuous learning. While the role has no direct reports today, this may evolve as needs grow. Expect to work closely with cross
‑
functional partners across the CRS, from Member Relations, Marketing, Finance, Technology, and many others.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in strategy and:
Have 10+ years of relevant experience in a corporate or retail strategy function, including at least 8 years of leadership experience.
Have a bachelor’s degree in business (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
Experience in retail operations and service design is considered an asset.
Experience in the co-operative sector is considered an asset.
Possess strong financial acumen.
