Winpak Division is seeking an Project Sales Specialist to join our Latin America
Customer Service Team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish and English is required for this role.
The Project Sales Specialist plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer
support and driving business success across Mexico, Central America, and South America. Reporting to the Manager, Sales Support & Customer Service, Latin America, you will serve as the primary link between customers, distributors, and Winpak and Wipak business units, ensuring seamless communication, coordinating customer initiatives, and supporting new product launches.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and distributors across Latin America, providing exceptional service and timely support.
- Manage customer orders, pricing, quotations, artwork requests, product samples, and credit/debit requests from receipt through completion.
- Coordinate customer projects, new product launches, and product changes, ensuring deadlines and customer expectations are met.
- Build strong relationships with key accounts and collaborate with R&D, Purchasing, Planning, Production, and Shipping teams to resolve issues and support business needs.
- Work with Sales Representatives and internal stakeholders to address customer inquiries, complaints, and account-related requests.
- Collaborate with planning, supply chain, and logistics teams to coordinate shipments, manage inventory, and ensure uninterrupted product supply.
- Analyze customer opportunities and recommend the most suitable business unit to support project success.
- Support pricing updates, contract administration, forecasting, and, when required, assist with customer receivables.
- Lead cross-functional communication and collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO 9001 standards, and Winpak's Total Quality program while supporting special projects and occasional travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a role requiring strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate information clearly, professionally, and effectively while building positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years managing a sales territory.
- 5+ years of experience working in a customer-focused and cross-functional environment, preferably within manufacturing, supply chain, packaging, or operations.
- 3+ years of experience in a role that required managing multiple priorities, coordination of competing deadlines, and maintenance of a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- 2+ years of experience using ERP and/or CRM systems to manage customer information, orders, inventory, or business transactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
Additional Information
- This position is fully onsite at 100 Saulteaux Crescent, Winnipeg MB
- Work schedule – Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
