About the Role
Promac Group of Companies is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our growing in-house marketing team. In this hybrid content, sales and marketing role, you’ll support three dynamic divisions — Promac Sawmill, Promac Equipment, and Forge Attachments — with your skills in photography, videography, video editing, design, copywriting, and communications.
This is an exciting opportunity to build your career in a creative, hands-on role that blends content creation with operational marketing support. You'll be helping shape the visual and verbal storytelling of industrial-grade products used across North America.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Brand Communication
- Capture and edit photography and videography for social media, articles, and newsletters.
- Write customer stories, educational pieces, and brand-driven content.
- Manage social media scheduling, public engagement, and digital ad channels.
- Create on-brand templates and graphic elements for web, print, and social media.
- Support website content accuracy and brand consistency.
Product & Vendor Support
- Enter and audit product, vendor, and order data across systems.
- Maintain accuracy across terms, pricing, and product listings.
- Support front-end web design, UI/UX enhancements, and SEO optimization.
- Communicate professionally with vendors and customers.
Team & Company Support
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and company initiatives.
- Support internal meetings, campaigns, and team culture activities.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 month of experience in a relevant role (including internships/co-ops).
- Strong interest and demonstrated skills in photography, videography, and video editing.
- Proficient with digital marketing tools, including:
- Adobe Creative Suite
- WordPress
- Mailchimp
- Google Analytics
- Zoho or similar CRM tools
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
- Strong understanding of content standards, media formats, and marketing practices.
- High attention to detail and a strong desire for consistency and organization.
- Ability to discern and process large amounts of technical information effectively.
- Enjoys daily multitasking in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Comfortable with occasional, pre-planned travel (within Canada and the U.S.) for up to few days at a time, several times per year.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with both B2B and B2C marketing environments.
- Knowledge of social media trends and platform best practices.
- Located within reasonable commuting distance to Duncan, BC.
