About the role
About Alma Care
Alma Care is on a mission to revolutionize postpartum care for Canadians. We offer premium, personalized postnatal services designed for optimal recovery and lasting family wellness — brought directly to our families in the comfort of their own homes.
Our holistic approach supports new mothers through 24/7 care, nourishing food, lactation consulting, infant care education, night nursing, and targeted wellness services. We take care of mom so she can be her best self for her baby.
About The Role
As an RMT with Alma Care, you will be a key part of a new mother's postpartum recovery journey. Providing evidence-informed massage therapy targeting postpartum recovery (e.g., C-section scar tissue mobilization, diastasis recti awareness, pelvic girdle tension, back and shoulder strain from feeding and carrying) Tailoring each session proactively to the client's stage of postpartum recovery and individual presenting concerns Educating clients on what to expect from their postpartum body and how massage therapy supports their healing Delivering a calm, professional, and deeply caring in-home experience that reflects Alma Care's premium standard of care Communicating effectively with the broader Alma Care care team when relevant to a client's recovery
About You
You are a licensed RMT with a genuine passion for supporting women in the postpartum period You have at minimum 1 year of clinical experience, with demonstrated knowledge of perinatal or postpartum massage You take a proactive, client-centered approach — anticipating needs rather than simply responding to them You are warm, professional, and able to put new mothers at ease in their home environment You communicate clearly and compassionately, both with clients and colleagues You take pride in delivering an exceptional, consistent experience every time
