Position Summary: Type: Full time Position: Junior Planner/Scheduler Location: CNRL Horizon HVAC Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off (Compressed Schedule) Compensation Details: Vacation pay at 6% - paid out bi-weekly upon start date Health & Dental and Long-Term Disability Benefits– eligible after 3 months of consecutive employment with Bouchier RPP (Registered Pension Plan) with company matching– eligible after 3 months of consecutive employment with Bouchier Employer paid Employee Assistance Program

Role Summary:
The HVAC Junior Planner/Scheduler will assist with facilitating maintenance planning processes and plans for Bouchier, ensuring the needs of all sites are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. This position will report to the HVAC Site Superintendent.
Primary Responsibilities:
Familiarity with Maximo is considered an asset Develop and document a Bill of Materials per job, per asset, to accurately capture the components required. Work with Supply Chain personnel to ensure the required parts are ordered, kitted and staged as per planned completion date. Prepare work plans for daily, weekly and long-term maintenance to ensure goals are achievable within the maintenance schedule. Evaluate maintenance system and recommend alternative procedures if needed. Have a basic technical and mechanical background. Allocate appropriate resources, parts, finances, costs, and reliability information for each project. Create weekly schedule compliance reports. Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License. CSO (Common Safety Orientation) Certificate is required WHMIS 2015 Certificate is required Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and use of Macros. Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices. Understanding of planning and scheduling concepts as they relate to HVAC equipment. Collaborative communication style. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills. Knowledge of the practices, methods and techniques used in the performance of work as assigned. Organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines, self-starter, and a quick learner. Ability to handle a large workload volume. Ability to identify and implement effective courses of action to complete assigned work. Ability to be flexible and to adapt to changing circumstances. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those encountered in the course of the work. Able to coordinate work assignments with other workers, divisions or departments.
