About the role:

Purity Life are seeking a Regional Sales Manager – Grocery Division. This position will be responsible for the management of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba regions. The Regional Manager’s job is to develop and implement sales plans in its respective region, drive brand and category management opportunities, motivate and lead high performing outside and inside sales teams. This is an office-based position located in Burnaby, BC (hybrid with1 day work from home).

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans for the region to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly for the region by territory.
  • Works closely with Account Managers to oversee account plans concerning sales and promotions.
  • Directs Account Manager activities in region, including objectives for in-store merchandising and detailing.
  • Analyzes sales statistics for the region to formulate strategy for dealing with regional activities.
  • Establishes and maintains strong rapport with strategic retail partners.
  • Maintains close working relationships with broker and vendor partners as appropriate, ensures Account Managers develop similar relationships.
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures of region to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Assists other Regional Managers within organization by sharing contacts, experiences, and best practices.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion for the region.
  • Develop and deliver strategic presentations to retail partners and internal teams, including in-depth business reviews.
  • Develop the regional sales force through quarterly work with assessments, weekly group or one-on-one tele- conference calls. Assist Account Managers to assume personal and joint accountability for team success through clearly defined expectations of performance standards, responsibilities and objectives.
  • Responsible for managing “Key Accounts” as defined and appropriate to position.
  • Ensure CRM compliance by monitoring the accuracy of team-entered contacts, call notes, and overall data quality, providing coaching and accountability to maintain system integrity.
  • Work closely with internal Grocery departments and Wellness Division where appropriate.
  • Support organizational changes within the defined sales department and region.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software- Proton AI
  • Excellent leadership abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Sound organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills with exceptional customer service
  • Ability to respond quickly in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Minimum 3 years proven experience motivating and leading high performing sales teams
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Working knowledge of MS365

The salary range for this position is $90-$108k. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
