About the role
Midland Transport is currently looking for an Overnight Freight Handler based out of the Dartmouth Terminal. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and "Can Do" attitude.
Shift: Sunday-Thursday (midnight to 8AM)

Dock setup

Scanning process and paperwork (BOLs)

Loading and unloading freight

Communicate with other Dock Workers to ensure safe loading and unloading

Keeping the dock ad work area clean and fully functioning

Flexible to assist in other areas when volumes are low, including covering for both courier and transport deliveries routes

Education Required: Minimum High School Diploma

Years of Experience Required: <2 years; previous experience in a warehouse and/or shipping environment

Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience

Committed to working safely in a fast-paced environment

Capable of working positively with others toward common goals

Able to read and write clearly to complete paperwork

Efficient and hard-working

Basic math skills and Organizational skills
