Responsibilities Job Summary The Auxiliary department personnel, under the direction of the Auxiliary Supervisor, will primarily be responsible to install, setup and tend to automated assembling equipment. This position will trouble shoot settings, adjust and change out automated equipment on the production floor as required. This role will also service and set up of conveyor belts, drive belts and chains, bearings and motor or drive control. The Auxiliary department personnel must possess three years of related experience and certifications or licenses appropriate to manufacturing industry are preferred.

Job Duties
- Install, setup and tend to automated assembling equipment
- Trouble shoot settings, adjust and change out automated equipment on the production floor as required
- Service and set up of conveyor belts, drive belts and chains, bearings and motor or drive control
- Set up and service of hot stamper
- Setup and repair handle and gasket installer
- Setup auxiliary equipment chutes, catcher/lifter, and stackers
- Preform preventative maintenance and general repairs of Auxiliary equipment, including, cut and drill materials, grind parts, tap holes, and assembling new parts for new equipment
- Bolt, screw, clip, or otherwise fasten parts and components together using hand and power tools and equipment
- Position and install parts, subassemblies, and accessories using hand tools, power tools, and other aids
- Lubricate, clean, maintain equipment, and tools
- Closely monitor machines for signs of problems while ensuring output is meeting set specifications
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency
- Ensure outputs meet production schedules, safety and quality standards
- Detect equipment malfunctions and adjust machine, controls, or control within capabilities as required to ensure quality of production
- Ensure proper use of required personal protective equipment at all times
- Follow manufacturing and processing procedures, set machine or equipment controls, carry out production and inspection processes
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on all equipment and tools
- Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of day
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity, product quality, and safety

Qualifications Job Requirements
- Three years of related experience
- Certifications or licenses appropriate to manufacturing industry preferred
- Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and tools required in various assembly processes
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labour
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
- Demonstrated ability to operate material-handling equipment
- Must be able to work schedule rotation that supports 24/5 operations
- Ability to work overtime as required, at times with little notice
