**Position:**Rapid Response Security Guard
**Site:**Seneca Polytechnic
**City:**All Campus (York/North York/King)
**Overtime:**Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
**Status:**Full-Time
**Hours:**Continental Rotation - 0700-1900/1900-0700
Pay Rate:$19.00 - $21.50/ an hour
**Internal Posting Date:**March 16, 2026
**Internal Closing Date:**March 20, 2026
**External Closing Date:**April 2, 2026
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION REQUIRES A PERSONAL VEHICLE
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive foot and vehicle patrols throughout all extensive facilities, academic buildings, residence, and student spaces
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and medical emergencies with confidence and care
- Provide excellent customer service and information to students, visitors, and faculty
- Monitor access, enforce campus policies, and assist with crowd management during events
- Prepare thorough incident reports and assist with investigations
- Engage with Toronto Police, Fire, EMS, and campus partners as needed

Qualifications
- Legally Authorized to Work in Canada
- Ontario Security Guard License
- Standard First Aid/CPR
- Strong communication skills and an upbeat, professional attitude
- Ability to handle fast-paced, diverse campus demands
- Prior post-secondary or healthcare security experience an asset
- Bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus
