YEAR ROUND FULL TIME- (HEALTH AND DENTAL BENEFITS)
WAGE- $23.27 Hour
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
The primary responsibility in this role, is the proper conditioning and maintenance of all pool/spa facilities on the resort including but not limited to properly balanced water chemistry, cleanliness of the pool/spa and surrounding area, and that all safety equipment is functional and tested before each days use. As well this role will respond to dispatch calls throughout the resort that require maintenance services during certain time periods.

Troubleshoot pool system components to ensure minimum downtime

Maintain proper water quality by providing proper disinfection as well as water balance

Proper chemical storage , usage and handling

Maintain facility in a clean/safe manner

Perform minor repairs to Swimming pools and Spa tubs equipment

General repair and maintenance of machines, equipment, guest rooms and buildings

Enhancing the guest experience by representing Blue Mountain Resorts with a courteous and customer service centered demeanor at all times
WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?
- General knowledge and experience, likely 1-2 years, in all facets of Building Maintenance.
- Certified pool operator certification an asset
- Previous experience with pool maintenance an asset
- Good understanding of pool/spa facility's mechanical system and all its components
- Able to identify and evaluate risks on these Pool/Spa facility's and determine strategy to minimize
