About the Role

Ensure all resort linen requirements are met by keeping adequate supplies of clean linen

available for distribution throughout the Resort.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure all machines are in operation, loading / unloading for efficiency.

  • Check laundry requirements for the day and request chemical orders as required.

  • Laundry tasks may include pressing, folding, spreading sheets, washing, light cleaning,

and working with large industrial machinery pertinent to the Laundry department.

  • Oversee the Laundry department for efficiency i.e. all required laundry needs are met in

a timey fashion for all resort areas.

  • Ensure proper policies, procedure and protocols are adhered to by the Laundry team.

  • Ensure all lost and found times are brought to the Housekeeping Department daily.

  • Adhere to all safety standards and “Safety Data Sheets” while dispensing/using

chemicals.

  • Complete additional job-related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1-year Laundry experience in a hotel or resort preferred.

  • Minimum 1-year strong supervisory skills.

  • WHMIS certification is an asset.

  • Previous experience in Housekeeping /Janitorial / Laundry would be an asset.

  • Ability to safely lift, pull, push, or carry possibly up to 50 pounds.

  • Flexibility to work a changing schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.).
