Responsibilities

• Contract management

• Compiling project start up documentation

• Main support for Project Management team

• Assist with scheduling projects and labour

• Coordinating site service work

• Help communicating with and coordinating both field and office staff

• On site administrative support for the Supervisor/Foreman

• Tracking on site production

• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget

• Some business development

• Budgeting and tracking profits or losses

• Customer communications

• Coordinating materials and supplies

• Assisting with preparing cost estimates

• Performing risk management to minimize project risks

• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation

Desired Skills and Experience

-Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the excavating industry -Minimum 1 year of project coordination experience -Hands on construction experience is a strong asset

• Ability to read and understand project specifications, drawings and details

• Good understanding of excavating equipment

• Sound understanding of site service work

• Must be a highly effective and confident communicator, both written and verbal

• Strong attention to detail

• Legal right to work in Canada
