Job Description

Team & Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated software developer to join the Frontier team. This team is largely responsible for UI Infrastructure, Design System, UI Modernization (replacement of ASPX with an Angular SPA is ongoing) and some backend work is also expected. As a full stack Angular and C# Software Developer on our Frontier team, you’ll participate in all activities of the team. We are enthusiastic adopters of AI and embrace its potential, both in increasing developer productivity and the functionality of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing and understanding business and functional requirements.

• Developing sophisticated, web-based applications with Angular and Typescript.

• Creating or enhancing of re-usable components on our Design System.

• Ensuring high quality by writing unit tests, automation tests and visual regression tests.

• Backend development in C# in a Docker based environment using Oracle

• Communicating with stakeholders and other colleagues to clarify any ambiguity, gain required knowledge and information

Qualifications

About You:

Ideally you have the following experience, but we also recognize that talent comes in many forms of transferable skills.

• You are a technical and creative person who enjoys solving complex problems, overcoming tough obstacles on your own and through teamwork.
• Can understand and communicate complex issues
• Have an eye for detail and strong analytical skills
• Development of web UI components and front-end architecture using Angular
• Experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Some knowledge of ASPX and AngularJS
• Knowledge of C#, Microsoft .NET
• Experience applying AI to aspects of software development
• Design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software features
• Understanding the design of large systems and the impact of changes to such systems
• Experience with source code control and the build environment of a large software solution
