Job Description:

As the Offshore Coordinator at Mucci Farms, your primary role involves assisting with the Temporary Foreign Worker, (TFW) Program and the coordination of their arrival, orientation, onboarding, and departure. Building relationships with local, Provincial, and Federal regulatory agencies. Administrative responsibilities pertaining to the employees of the TFW program. Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Assist in the complete process of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, (recruitment, arrival, onboarding, and departures)
  • Liaison and maintain relationships with TFW consulates, local, Provincial and Federal regulatory agencies
  • Collaborate with LMIA applications
  • Document management; paper, and digital formats
  • Assist in creating department metrics intended to keep stakeholders informed using Excel
  • Administrative duties such as data entry, creation of forms, organize, sort, and distribute packages and incoming mail
  • Coordinate and deliver orientation to newly arrived TFW’s
  • Assist with programs that ensure legislative compliance
  • Schedule appointments with; Service Canada (SIN), Service Ontario (Health Cards), TFW medical appointments
  • Offer Spanish Translation, both verbal and written if applicable
  • Duties as otherwise assigned to support the Offshore Team and the Human Resources Department

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • College diploma in Administration, Human Resources or related field is required
  • At least 1 year of administrative experience, required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, (oral and written)
  • Proven high level of expertise with computer applications; Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, Adobe PDF, ADP-WorkforceNow
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Physical Abilities:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
  • Must be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbs
  • Must be able to climb stairs and stand for an extended period of time
  • Must be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 13 ˚C / 55 ˚

Compensation for this role: $21-$23/hr. onsite parking, and company perks
