About the role

Responsibilities

  • Client Experience Enhancement: Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities that improve client journeys, personalize interactions, and proactively address pain points across channels and touchpoints.
  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and elevate client outcomes.
  • Model Development & Deployment: Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support business forecasting, segmentation, and personalization initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams—including product, marketing, and operations—to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions that support client-centric strategies.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Design and deliver intuitive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent, ensuring insights are accessible and impactful for client-facing teams.
  • Data Governance & Quality: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards and external regulations to maintain trust and reliability in client data.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance analytical processes, tools, and methodologies, contributing to a culture of innovation and excellence in client experience delivery.
  • Work with external system and application vendors, external advisors, and parent organizations (BNY and CIBC) to ensure seamless integration and governance of client experience technology initiatives

Qualifications

  • University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; actively pursuing a Master’s degree or professional designation is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in data analytics, with a strong emphasis on client-centric insights and operational optimization.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools such as Python, SQL, and Power BI; experience with Microsoft Synapse is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated expertise in automation and process optimization using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate), Power Query, and Alteryx.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices for managing client-related data securely and accurately.
  • Solid knowledge of data architecture and system integration to support scalable automation and seamless data feed management.
  • Proficiency in process mapping, modeling methodologies, and continuous improvement frameworks to drive operational efficiency and client-centric solutions.
  • Familiarity with machine learning applications and emerging technologies that support personalized client engagement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders using tools like PowerPoint
