The job involves:
- Taking reservations for hotels, dining, show tickets, tournaments, events and creating them in the appropriate databases
- Supporting marketing initiatives, responsible for ensuring hotel, theatre tickets, tournaments and events are booked in accordance to patron qualifications
- Completing outbound confirmations and telemarking calls to our patron database
- Assessing and providing comps to qualified players based on level of play
- Handling customer service issues and promoting outstanding guest relations
- Maintaining professionalism under stressful situations, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
- Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another
- Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
- Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
The ideal candidate has:
- Communicates clearly and professionally with a welcoming demeanor
- Focused on understanding and meeting guest needs
- Confident in presenting options and driving bookings through effective sales techniques
- Strong computer skills and comfort with general software tools
- Learns new systems quickly and can navigate multiple platforms at once
- Handles high call volumes while staying organized in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain confidentiality while adhering to compliance guidelines
- Knowledge of the Niagara Region and surrounding areas
