The Opportunity
To collaborate with and learn from a team of testers to ensure our product performance meets the high standards our customers expect. You will grow personally and professionally as a member of our team. After gaining an in-depth knowledge of our products, you will work closely with our engineering teams to verify the functionality and performance of new products prior to public release. From bench testing to large-scale customer field tests, your work will have a direct impact on the quality of our products being used by farmers around the world.

Team Responsibilities
Design and execute complete system tests Perform user tests to verify products meet customer expectations and provide a positive user experience Plan and carry out in-field beta testing with farmers and dealers Analyze data to ensure accurate system control and data logging Identify testing initiatives that contribute to the future success of our team Be a product technical expert, with the ability to assist in advanced troubleshooting
Qualifications/Skills
Junior or Senior status. Majoring in Ag Systems Technology, Ag Engineering, or similar technical majors. Strong desire for continuous learning Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with general farming practices in production agriculture Ability to solve problems accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

The ISU Research Park is a 400+ acre development with 550,000 square feet of building space and home to 89 companies. We are located in Ames, Iowa, just South of the Iowa State University campus.
The ISU Research Park Corporation was established in 1987 as a not-for-profit, independent, corporation operating under a Board of Directors appointed by Iowa State University and the ISU Foundation.
While the Park is closely connected with the university, we operate independently to help our tenants reach proprietary goals. The ISU Research Park offers assistance and accessibility to many university and area connections, including facilities, expertise, technology, financing, recruiting and more.
We strive to create an innovation community and provide an incubator for new and expanding businesses. The Research Park also assists young Iowa-based companies develop their potential and nurtures scientific and technological entrepreneurial ventures.
ISU Research Park represents an investment in excess of $20 million and generates $3.5 million in operating income each year. Fund appropriation from the state also represents over $325,000 annually. The Park also shows total salaries of $100 million each year, with $65K on average annually.
The ISU Research Park serves tenants of any size, including start-ups, small-staff operations, growing entrepreneurial ventures and corporations with multiple locations worldwide. We also work with affiliate companies to offer our on-site services to further their off-site interests, wherever they may be.
