Jardeg is accepting resumes for future Carpenter Journeyperson opportunities, to join the team at the Cariboo Memorial Hospital Redevelopment in Williams Lake . This will be a great opportunity for someone looking to be home every night through the winter and maybe beyond.
The schedule is 5 days on 2 days off. The shift may include extended hours and weekends, as required by the project needs. This position does not have camp accommodations or travel allowance.
As a Carpenter Journeyperson, your responsibilties are as below but not limited to:
- Build forms for concrete
- Cut, shape, and join.
- Look for and fix deficiencies
- Check accuracy of work, and makes adjustments as required
- Construct and form chutes for pouring concrete
- Inform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures
- Act as a work leader and mentors to apprentice carpenters
Minimum Requirements
- CSTS 2020
- WHIMIS
- Fall Protection is an asset
- Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal OR proof of hours
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
