About the role

Air Unlimited Inc. is seeking a driven and self-motivatedIndustrial Technical Sales Representative – Compressed Air Systems to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities in our Southern Territory and manage existing customer relationships related to compressed air systems, preventative maintenance contracts, and related products. This individual will excel at identifying customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. With their enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment to excellence, the Sales Representative will play a key role in expanding Air Unlimited Inc.’s presence and maintaining our strong reputation for quality and reliability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities while growing and maintaining existing customer accounts.
  • Sell air compressor systems and related products to commercial and industrial clients.
  • Develop, propose, and sell preventative maintenance contracts for Ingersoll Rand compressors and other competitive brands.
  • Review and respond to tender documents on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare accurate quotes for maintenance tenders, projects, and system upgrades.
  • Enter and track quotations; follow up with customers on quotes and ongoing opportunities.
  • Contact and collaborate with engineering firms to assist with system design and technical specifications.
  • Work independently while contributing actively as part of a collaborative sales team.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to customers.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance objectives.
  • Introduce new products, technologies, and technical updates to customers.
  • Attend scheduled sales meetings and follow the Impact Sales Process.
  • Collaborate with the Service Department to support key accounts, new business, and parts/service opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer support to all Air Unlimited clients.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent written, organizational, and presentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Experience selling to OEM manufacturing clients is a definite asset.
  • Background in industrial or technical sales is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for out-of-town work.

Education and Training:

  • Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering or Technology (EIT, CET, EET) is considered an asset.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • Valid Passport required for occasional travel.
