Position #: 9007370 Expected Start Date: To be determined - Posted Until Filled Union: HSAS Facility: Kamsack District Hospital & Nursing Home City/Town: Kamsack Department: Primary Care Sites Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Hours of Work: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Dietitian - Degree $36.171 to $44.230 Travel Required: Yes Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Experience in the field of community dietetics is an assetEducation- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and DieteticsLicenses- Valid Class 5 driver's licenseCompetencies- Organizational skills- Time management skillsKnowledge and Abilities- Knowledge in learning and teaching principles- Self motivated with the ability to work independently- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning- Knowledge of health promotion models & strategies- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook)- Ability to develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team- Knowledge in community development- Ability to provide group education and support in area of nutrition and dietOther Information- Registered/eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians- Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC) About US The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment.
