BMO Global Asset Management (BMOGAM) is seeking a Senior Manager, BMO Global Asset Management Marketing to lead integrated, performance‑driven marketing strategies that directly support business growth. This highly visible role will be responsible for end-to-end media strategy, planning, and execution, working closely with agencies and internal partners to deliver measurable commercial outcomes across the full marketing journey.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in Asset Management marketing, strong expertise in media planning and digital channels, and the ability to operate as a trusted strategic partner to senior stakeholders. This role is accountable for driving demand, generating high‑quality leads, and ultimately contributing to sales growth across priority products and client segments.
Key Responsibilities
Media Strategy, Planning & Execution
- Lead the development and execution of integrated media strategies across paid social, display, programmatic, search, and emerging digital channels in addition to traditional B2B channels
- Own the end‑to‑end media planning process, including strategic briefing, investment allocation, audience targeting, execution, and optimization
- Act as the primary lead for media and digital agency partners , ensuring strong strategic alignment, performance transparency, and accountability
- Champion digital marketing best practices, innovation, and test‑and‑learn approaches
Performance Marketing & Optimization
- Define and track KPIs aligned to lead generation, marketing‑qualified leads (MQLs), pipeline contribution, and sales outcomes
- Analyze campaign and funnel performance to uncover insights and optimization opportunities
- Proactively recommend and implement adjustments to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and ROI
- Apply Account‑Based Marketing strategies using platforms such as Demandbase to support priority institutional and intermediary audiences
Holistic Marketing & GTM Orchestration
- Take a full-funnel, customer-centric view of the marketing journey, from awareness through conversion and retention
- Partner closely with content, product marketing, sales, and distribution to ensure cohesive go-to-market orchestration
- Align media activation, content strategy, and sales enablement to deliver consistent messaging and measurable impact
Stakeholder Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders across Marketing, Distribution, Product, and Sales
- Translate complex business objectives into clear marketing strategies and investment recommendations
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration in a highly matrixed, enterprise environment
- Clearly communicate performance, insights, and recommendations to executive‑level audiences
Qualifications
Required
- 8-12+ years of progressive marketing experience
- Extensive Asset Management experience , gained within an independent asset management firm or a large bank / enterprise investment organization
- Strong background in media strategy and planning , with hands‑on expertise across digital, social, display, and programmatic channels
- Proven experience managing external agencies and complex budgets
- Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into action
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders in a highly visible role
Preferred
- Experience with ABM frameworks and platforms , including Demandbase
- Familiarity with institutional, intermediary, and wealth distribution channels
- Strong understanding of marketing analytics, attribution, and CRM / marketing automation ecosystems
Success Measures
- Meaningful contribution to sales growth and pipeline
- Improved performance and efficiency of paid media investments
- Growth in high‑quality leads and MQLs across priority segments
- Strong senior stakeholder confidence in marketing as a growth driver

Salary :
$86,000.00 - $160,000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
