The Role
Join Seequent’s Civil and Environmental team and help shape the future of subsurface modeling. As a Project Geologist, you’ll partner directly with clients to solve complex geoscience challenges using cutting-edge software such as Leapfrog Works, Central, and OpenGround. You’ll be a key member of the North American Technical Services team, collaborating across regions and disciplines to deliver high‑impact solutions.
A Project Geologist at this level is developing advanced expertise in workflows powered by Seequent Solutions, enabling fast, accurate subsurface model creation and improved stakeholder collaboration. Beyond contributing regionally, you will also support global customer initiatives
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Champion Seequent’s Civil and Environmental portfolio (Leapfrog Works, Central, OpenGround).
- Share expert-level product knowledge, workflows, and integrated solutions with new and existing users.
- Deliver training sessions on Leapfrog Works, and Central (1–2 sessions per month).
- Provide a range of user support, including product demonstrations, needs assessments, workflow guidance, trial planning, and implementing strategies to ensure customer success.
- Publish white papers and present at industry conferences on behalf of Seequent, often in collaboration with clients.
- Proactively engage users through health checks, support rollout of software upgrades, monitor customer satisfaction, and consistently drive continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Civil and Environmental sector.
- Proven experience in geological modeling and a strong understanding of subsurface workflows.
- Experience with contaminant modeling is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated experience delivering technical training or workshops, both in-person and virtually.
- Familiarity with Seequent Solutions (e.g., Leapfrog Works, Central, and OpenGround) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
- A collaborative, self‑directed working style with the ability to manage priorities effectively in hybrid or remote environments.
Additional Information
This is a 12-month fixed-term role based in one of Seequent’s North America offices; Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, or Denver.
Occasional business travel (up to 15%) may be required.
