We are recruiting for a Performance and Quality Analyst who is responsible for developing, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support program and services development, policy recommendations, effective service delivery and organizational change. This position ensures data accuracy, generates actionable insights, and makes recommendations to inform decision-making, contributing to continuous improvement efforts organization wide.
Compensation package:
- Work up to 37.5 hours per week;
- Minimum starting rate of pay is $36.14 per hour;
- 11 paid statutory holidays;
- Employer paid confidential employee assistance program for you and your family members;
Following the successful completion of a 3-month probationary period:
- Employer paid benefits (life insurance, short- and long-term disability benefits, health and dental);
- Group RRSP plan with Employer matched benefit up to 5% of gross earnings biweekly;
- Employer paid vacation hours, sick and personal leave time;
Minimum requirements of this position include:
Minimum of 3 years recent full-time work experience in data analysis. A focus on healthcare data or social services and healthcare related fields is considered an asset.
OTHER
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software.
- Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft packages.
- Experience designing, distributing, and analyzing surveys.
- Demonstrated ability to take complex analysis and summarize.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities.
- Understanding of The Council on Quality and Leadership, Personal Outcome Measures is an asset.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Duties and responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Collect, clean, and maintain large datasets from various sources, ensuring data integrity and transforming raw data into structured accurate formats for analysis.
- Analyze data trends to identify trends, strengths, gaps, opportunities and insights that improve supports and services and drive operational efficiency.
- Create automated reports, dashboards, to provide ongoing visibility to performance metrics, quality outcomes, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze data aligned with strategic planning objectives to monitor progress toward Agency goals.
- Support benchmarking initiatives aimed at evaluating and enhancing quality and organizational performance, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with program employees to define data needs and assist in designing data collection tools.
- Collaborate with each department to identify data needs and support evidence-based decision making.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Design, distribute, and analyze surveys to gather stakeholder feedback, improve program responsiveness, and inform strategic planning.
- Present data and explain data-driven insights to the Leadership Team and Board of Directors using advanced visualizations, such as Power BI, to support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate on quality improvement projects and contribute to training and education of employees, helping them better understand the significance of data analysis and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across the Agency.
- Implement and maintain data governance frameworks ensuring proper access control, security, and compliance and develop policies for data accuracy, audit trails, and governance.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform decisions and resource allocation.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes.
- Support evaluation and monitoring of activities for ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, tools, and best practices related to data analysis and quality.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and confidentiality policies and regulations.
- Research and implement new data tools to enhance operational effectiveness or efficiencies.
- Research sector best practices and industry trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and propose or develop innovative ideas and data-driven solutions that enhance service delivery, ensuring we better meet the evolving needs of our customers.
- Perform additional tasks or duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals.
