About the role:
The ITSM Analyst is a 6-month contract role focused on supporting Peoples Group’s IT service management operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for improving service delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with Infrastructure and Application Support teams to resolve technical issues, support onboarding/offboarding processes, and assist with key initiatives such as the Windows 11 transition and asset decommissioning.
About the day-to-day:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across systems and applications.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including provisioning and decommissioning of IT assets.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Application Support teams to resolve complex issues and reduce aging ticket backlog.
- Assist with Windows 11 transition activities, including troubleshooting and user support.
- Participate in asset decommissioning efforts and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
- Monitor and manage service tickets, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
- Maintain accurate records of support activities and resolutions using ITSM tools.
- Identify opportunities to streamline support processes and improve service delivery.
- Contribute to knowledge base documentation and user guides.
About the qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT service management, technical support, or infrastructure operations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network environments.
- Familiarity with ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and ServiceNow.
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems, including Windows 11, M365 and InTune.
- Knowledge of asset lifecycle management and decommissioning practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a contract setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

About the work environment:
Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times.

Compensation:
Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $70,000 and $80,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience that the chosen candidate possesses.
