WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Oversee co-op accounts and drive co-op revenue generation across multiple product lines, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and revenue targets.
- Design and manage customized co-op marketing plans with budgets of up to $100,000, leveraging a diverse mix of advertising channels to support campaign effectiveness and ROI. Product portfolios include SUN, NAM, LAS, CRU, EUR, CAN, and SAS.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal and Translation teams to review, revise, and optimize both existing and new plans as needed.
- Support the execution of marketing and advertising initiatives in line with Supplier/Partner strategies, ensuring consistent brand representation and the successful positioning of partners in all promotional efforts.
- Coordinate the collection and submission of performance documentation, including screenshots, reports, and other KPI-driven materials, to validate campaign outcomes. Ensure timely and accurate invoicing supported by complete performance proof.
- Follow up with suppliers to confirm, approve, and finalize proposed co-op marketing plans, ensuring all deliverables and expectations are aligned and documented.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with key internal departments to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives and compliance with brand standards:
- Marketing:
- Align all activities with the overarching media plan.
- Conduct bi-weekly meetings to review upcoming campaigns and ensure both teams are synchronized on timelines, deliverables, and objectives.
- Secure creative approvals for third-party campaigns (e.g., hotelier or tourist board-led) that feature the ACV brand or logo.
- Enforce adherence to brand guidelines and ensure consistent, appropriate use of the ACV logo across all external-facing materials.
- Finance: Coordinate invoicing requests and modifications as needed to support campaign billing and reconciliation.
- E-Commerce: Gather performance data and KPIs required for comprehensive wrap-up reports and campaign analysis.
- Sales: Ensure allocated sales funds are effectively utilized in accordance with supplier expectations and strategic priorities.
- Develop detailed marketing briefs for high-impact campaigns, including special promotions such as the Bahia Happiness Sale, to guide execution and align internal teams.
- Distribute comprehensive campaign wrap-up reports upon completion, summarizing key results, performance metrics, and strategic insights.
- Support the Manager on ad-hoc financial and analytical projects, including supplier recovery analysis and other data-driven initiatives.
- Manage and maintain the Digital Platform master spreadsheet, ensuring accurate, up-to-date, and validated data entries for reporting and operational needs.
- Circulate the weekly media plan and Aeroplan promotional offers to company-wide stakeholders every Friday, ensuring transparency and alignment across departments.
- Create, update, and organize Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) for all tourist board partners, ensuring proper compliance and documentation.
AEROPLAN
- Develop comprehensive marketing briefs for all co-op Aeroplan promotions, ensuring each brief clearly outlines the offer details and specifies all promotional channels involved.
- Ensure accurate representation of Aeroplan offers, with particular attention to supplier who are participating in the always on AE (Aeroplan Exclusive) program, maintaining consistency and brand integrity
- Generate and distribute post-campaign performance reports upon completion of each promotion, submitting them to suppliers as supporting documentation alongside the corresponding invoice.
- Prepare monthly summary reports for each supplier and submit them to the Loyalty department (Camille) to ensure timely allocation of Aeroplan points to registered passengers.
MISCELLANEOUS
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and ongoing updates of the internal media tool, which serves as the central repository for all co-op marketing information and activity tracking.
- Participate in supplier meetings to provide marketing support, gather campaign requirements, and ensure alignment on co-op initiatives.
- Support ad-hoc projects as assigned, contributing to cross-functional initiatives and providing flexibility in response to evolving business needs.
CONTESTS/PROMOTIONS
- Review and evaluate incoming advertising and promotional proposals to assess alignment with brand strategy, campaign objectives, and co-op partner expectations.
- Lead the planning and execution of national and regional promotions in collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional internal teams, ensuring timely delivery and effective campaign rollout.
- Coordinate contest fulfillment activities, including contacting prize winners, distributing release waivers and prize letters, and providing relevant documentation to co-op suppliers and Interline.
- Maintain the AC promotional pass log and regularly update the Interline promotional tracking form, ensuring accurate and current records of all promotions and prize winner information.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- Diploma in tourism or equivalent
- 2-year minimum experience in tour operator
- Microsoft Office applications
- Must demonstrate accuracy, initiative, judgement and act in a confidential manner
- Ability to communicate effectively – written and verbal
- Knowledge of English is essemntial, French and Spanish is an asset
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a team environment, as a contributing member of a results-oriented team
