The Opportunity
Superior Forklift is looking for an organized and customer-orientedShop Coordinatorto join our team in Saskatoon**, Saskatchewan**. As the Shop Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the successful coordination of Service jobs, including scheduling and assigning work to Technicians, and ensuring that the services we provide meet or exceed the needs of our internal and external customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Shop Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Schedule, coordinate, and assign jobs for Service Technicians
- Manage new and ongoing work orders using an ERP system
- Utilize the service scheduler to prioritize and schedule appointments
- Communicate with Service and Parts team members to ensure workloads are maximized, and customer needs are managed proactively
- Own incoming leads using established programs and processes
- Maintain ongoing and professional customer communication throughout the course of each repair job
- Manage the WIP Report and billing for customers, including reviewing invoice proposals for accuracy
- Ensure adherence to all safety programs and initiatives, and ensure any necessary incident reports are completed
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- Previous dispatching and/or scheduling experience
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills, planning skills, and multitasking ability
- A customer service mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated by a high-volume workload, coupled with a strong ability to think outside of the box to solve problems
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with internal and external customers at all levels
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
