The Sutton Place Hotel located at the base of Revelstoke Mountain features 205 luxurious condominium style units, year-round outdoor pool, hot tubs and fitness center. This property consists of three buildings connected by an underground heated parking facility and is serviced by a beautifully appointed central lobby. Located minutes from downtown Revelstoke additional amenities include the Rockford Bar | Grill, Mackenzie Common Tavern, La Baguette and Sointula Message & Day Spa.
We are currently considering candidates for the following position:
Concierge Supervisor Sutton Place Hotel at Revelstoke Mountain Resort
In this position the successful candidate will supervise the effective and efficient operation of the Concierge Department, inclusive of Concierge, Bellhop, Doorman, Pool Attendants, Wine Bar and Night Staff/ Security, with a high degree of guest satisfaction and return by ensuring consistent and exceptional guest service levels at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be thoroughly knowledgeable of and able to carry out all Concierge department duties & responsibilities.
- Act within his/her scope to ensure that all Sutton Place Hotel policies are followed.
- Ensure exceptional guest services are provided and administered in a personalized, friendly and professional manner by the entire Concierge Team.
- Supervise and take necessary action in conjunction with the Head Concierge and Front Office Manager regarding all Concierge employees.
- Assist with day-to-day Concierge, Bell, and hotel operations.
- Lead the Concierge team and complete required administrative tasks, as assigned, and in the absence of the Head Concierge.
- Maintain effective daily communication and professional relationships with all operating departments.
- Coordinate amenity orders and maintain inventories.
- Assists with guest arrivals/departures.
- Conduct full training of all new department employees.
- Provide outstanding personalized service that meets and exceeds guest expectations.
- Be knowledgeable of the Community and Resort attractions/ events.
- Respond to inquiries regarding hotel services by letter/telephone and in person.
- Attend meetings when required.
- Assist with training of all Concierge/Bell employees.
- Maintain clean and safe working environment.
- Be completely familiar with Hotel Fire and Safety Regulations and Emergency Procedures.
- Perform any other duties as required.
Concierge personnel must possess a positive and upbeat personality, excellent verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented and problem solve. Valid Driver's License with the ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle is required.
**REQUIREMENTS:**Must be outgoing, self-motivated, goal-orientated, with exceptional guest relations, problem-solving & organizational skills. Minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership role, and have industry experience with a focus on Guest Services. Must have proven leadership abilities including effective people management, training and performance management. Requirement for exceptional communication skills.. Completion of a degree/diploma preferred. Additional languages an asset.
