About the role
Responsibilities The Asset Manager in Montreal will be responsible for managing and maximizing the performance of a real estate portfolio. Their responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement management strategies aimed at optimizing the performance of assets under management.
- Monitor and analyse the financial performance of buildings (income, expenses, cash flow).
- Prepare detailed financial and operational reports for management and investors.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and value creation (rent optimization, cost reduction, renovation projects, potential acquisitions).
- Collaborate with property management, finance and operations teams to ensure the successful execution of strategic plans.
- Monitor leases, renewals and important negotiations related to the portfolio.
- Monitor market trends and prepare comparative analyses to inform investment decisions.
Profile sought
- University degree in finance, real estate, business administration or related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in asset management, financial analysis or real estate management.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements and financial modelling.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
- Communication skills (oral and written) and ability to write clear and precise reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel essential) and, ideally, ERP tools/real estate software.
- Bilingualism (French and English) highly appreciated.
