Responsibilities

Assist with preparation of legal documents, maintaining client files, and conducting legal research

Draft and revise a variety of court documents, including:

Mediation and pre-trial memorandums

Affidavits of documents
-
Motion records
-
Statements of claim
-
Manage an active caseload of 100-150 files
-
Collaborate with lawyers and other team members to ensure deadlines are met
-
Maintain a high level of organization and accuracy in all administrative duties
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant (required)
- At least 1 year of experience specifically in tort and accident benefits matters (required)
- Strong drafting and document preparation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $55,000-$65,000 annually (based on experience)
