We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our eServices Branch, Information & Communication Technology team. This position, Product Manager, Digital credentials, will be responsible for leading and advancing the Government of Yukon’s digital credentials and identity management program. This program will provide secure, private, and user-friendly digital credentials and identity management for both the public and the government, enabling high-value services to move online, reducing barriers to accessing services, and increasing the availability of information and digital interactions for Yukoners.

Essential Qualifications Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, information management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in product management, digital identity and credentials system, digital service delivery, cybersecurity, or similar digital platforms.
  • Experience in leading and delivering large, complex digital programs on time and within budget in a government or similarly complex organization.
  • Experience working with identity and access management (IAM) systems, digital credentials, or related technologies (e.g., digital wallets, verification services, API integrations, or secure data exchange).
  • Experience advising, coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including end users, program areas, vendors, technical specialists and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience developing business cases, roadmaps, governance frameworks and product strategies, including defining scope, priorities, and success metrics.
  • Experience using data, analytics, metrics, and KPIs to guide product decisions and evaluate service performance.

  • Knowledge of digital identity standards and technologies, including digital credentials, authentication models, and privacy/security best practices.
  • Expertise with modern identity management systems, architectures, and technologies (e.g., SSO, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
  • Understanding of user-centered service design, and digital product management, including agile practices, accessibility, usability, service quality principles, and the use of data/metrics to improve services.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to manage a program involving multiple projects and priorities within the digital identity domain.
  • Knowledge of new and emerging digital and technology sectors, including product management practices, data analysis, user research, web analytics, cybersecurity concepts, and digital identity technologies.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical groups.
  • Demonstrable experience of being organized, self-driven, and able to prioritize workload in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Knowledge of government operations, legislation, and policy environments is an asset.
