About the role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role will play a key part in supporting financial reporting, month-end close, and day-to-day accounting operations during an important transition period for the company. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking to transition from public practice into industry, or for an experienced accountant seeking to broaden their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You’ll D
- oMaintain the accounting records in NetSuite while also working cross-functionally with the accounts receivable and payable team
- sOwn the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- .Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- .Assist with compiling and preparing month-end financial statements for the management team, including variance analysis against prior period and budget
- .Review payroll entries and other recurring transactions for accuracy and completeness
- .Assist with external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation
- .Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations
- .Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- .Have the opportunity to grow into streamlining the consolidation process, prepare note disclosures for financial statements, and assisting with due diligence for financing
