Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Foreman to lead crews on civil construction projects. This role requires someone who can take full ownership of a job site—from planning and execution to productivity and safety. You will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, managing crews, and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to spec.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise field crews on civil construction sites Coordinate daily site activities including excavation, grading, and pipe installation Read and interpret drawings, grades, and specifications Ensure productivity targets and deadlines are met Communicate effectively with project management, clients, and subcontractors Enforce safety standards and maintain a safe work environment Plan work ahead and solve problems in real time Track materials, equipment usage, and site progress
Requirements
Proven experience as a Foreman in civil construction Strong knowledge of: Excavation and earthworks Sewer, water, and storm systems Site grading and layout Ability to read and understand construction drawings and grades Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in varying conditions and adapt to changing job sites Valid driver’s license (required)
