Job Description
The University of Toronto is seeking a Research Associate to work on AI in Manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting research in AI applications in manufacturing.
- Collaborating with industry partners and academic researchers.
- Publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Presenting research at conferences and workshops.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing processes and systems.
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools.
- Previous experience in a research environment.
Additional Information
This position is a 2-year term appointment with the possibility of extension based on funding and performance.
