Job Description
Whitestone Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Product Implementation Engineer to join our client’s team. Reporting to the Senior IT Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and deploying contact center applications on our client’s North American CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) Cisco platform. As part of your duties, you will be responsible for understanding designs and supporting implementation in pre-production environments, coordinating, and supporting the implementation in a production environment. Specifically, you will implement configuration changes and scripting changes on a Cisco cloud platform involving >5k agents spread across several sites in Canada and the US. Success in this role will be determined by the successful candidate’s ability to work closely with peers in technology teams, collaborate with the business technology groups and navigate into the processes of a large organization.
Responsibilities:
- Understand technology directions and requirements through received documentation, consultation with the business, other technology teams, and vendors/suppliers.
- Implement contact center solutions to provide greater business functionality and flexibility.
- Work well in both an independent and team context.
- Analyze information, organize, manage competing priorities, solve problems, and communicate/present clearly (both verbal and written).
- Good analytical mind, analytical in nature and focused on the details.
- Deal effectively with external stakeholders, co-workers, staff, and management.
- Works well under pressure to achieve objectives on time.
- Develop and grow excellent working relationships with colleagues.
- Flexibility around working hours.
Job Requirements:
- Technical diploma or bachelor degree in Computer Science (an asset)
- 2 yrs. experience with Cisco CVP, ICM deployments
- 4 yr. in large contact center teams, including deployment
- Expertise with Cisco CVP, ICM deployments
- Ability to organize and manage time effectively and set priorities.
- Attention to business priorities: experience, flexibility and speed.
