Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting business performance through financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The successful candidate will act as a trusted business partner to cross-functional teams, including Production, Supply Chain, and Procurement, providing financial insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Business Partnership Partner with cross-functional teams to understand operational and financial drivers. Analyze Supply Chain costs, including freight and warehousing expenses. Support Procurement by analyzing raw material and packaging costs and their impact on Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). Provide financial support for Production through plant cost analysis and manufacturing cost estimates. Deliver financial analysis to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. Identify business risks and opportunities while improving financial transparency. Develop and enhance financial processes, reporting templates, and analytical tools. Support ad hoc financial analyses and special projects.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting
Support month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting cycles. Prepare financial reports and presentations for monthly business reviews. Complete journal entries and account reconciliations. Lead KPI review meetings with stakeholders. Coordinate budgeting and forecasting timelines to meet international reporting deadlines. Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting. Develop financial models to support business planning and decision-making. Collaborate with local and international finance teams to ensure compliant reporting.
Systems & Data Management
Utilize SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW as primary ERP and reporting systems. Manage assigned P&L accounts within SAP. Ensure data accuracy and integrity. Troubleshoot reporting and data inconsistencies with internal and global stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation completed or in progress. Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis experience within a manufacturing environment. Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail.
