LIGHT VEHICLE MECHANIC – CLASS II

How You Contribute To Our World
Reporting to the General Foreman – Maintenance, you will have the opportunity to work in a safe, unique, and motivating environment. Your main duties will be:
Performing maintenance and repairs on light equipment used in mining operations and by the surface mobile equipment department (Toyota and GMC light trucks, etc.). Performing troubleshooting, routine repairs, and preventive maintenance on equipment. Analyzing breakdowns, inspecting parts, and performing various tasks related to a mechanical workshop. Using maintenance and parts management software as part of daily activities.
Profile Required
Holder of a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in construction equipment mechanics, heavy equipment mechanics, or automotive mechanics, combined with five (5) years of experience with Chevrolet or Toyota products. Experience with Toyota and GM mining products, as well as in automotive electronics and electrical systems, is a significant asset. Experience in the mining industry and at automotive dealerships will be considered an asset. Valid driver’s license and explosives permit. Working knowledge of English is an asset.
