About the role

Job Description AAA Canada is looking for an Electrical Assembler to bring his/her expertise to our team.

Responsibilities

  • Installation and modification of electrical systems and components;
  • Installation and connection of electrical harnesses or other cables and their wires or terminations between main units;
  • Installation of electrical or electronic components on shelves or peripherals;
  • Assembly, adjustment and installation of prefabricated parts to create aircraft interiors according to requirements and instructions;
  • Assembly, adjustment and installation of sub-assemblies, upholstery, metal supports and hardware;
  • Install production wiring harnesses and/or avionics systems and ensure compliance;
  • Wiring and cabling on panels;
  • Many other duties that may vary according to experience and qualifications.

Skills And Qualifications

  • DEP in cable and circuit assembly or DEC or AEC in avionics technology, or a minimum of 5 years' experience as an aircraft electrical assembler.
  • Pass an evaluation demonstrating basic technical skills - Hiring manual skills tests
  • 3 years' experience as a production harness fitter (asset)
  • Minutia and precision, good reflexes, ability to concentrate and attention to detail (assembly or manufacturing of high-precision components);
  • Analytical skills to quickly identify defects or other problems;
  • Good manual skills and dexterity;
  • Good visual acuity;
  • Sense of responsibility (conformity of components and parts);
  • Ability to work as part of a team (multidisciplinary team: assembler-mechanics, aircraft mechanics, other technicians, engineers, etc.);
  • Ability to adapt to numerous technological changes
  • Oral and written bilingualism (French - English) is an important asset for communication in the multilingual environment of the customer's site, and for technical documentation.
