What You'll Be Doing

Maintain a continual focus on safety and adhere to all company environmental, health, and safety policies, including daily safety analysis and mitigation. Complete cutting, threading, bending, and assembling rigid, aluminum and conduit systems. Install and maintain EMT and PVC piping systems, batteries, solar panels, voltage regulators, MCC equipment, heat trace, and VFD’s. Interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to better help execute electrical installation and troubleshooting. Understand and execute basic circuit fundamentals, alternating current circuit properties, heating and cooling systems, magnetic control and switching circuits, three phase systems, transformers, machines, control and switching/PLC, fire alarm systems, red seal programs, industry network, and applications of electronics. Test electrical equipment and components for current, voltage and OHMS.

What You Need to Succeed

Journeyman Electrician Certification or Indentured Apprentice Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, OSSA Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, CSO, and CSTS. A respectful attitude with a strong focus on customer service and exceptional communication skills. A valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract and the ability to maintain work schedule. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a busy environment. Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry in construction or maintenance is considered an asset.
