About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple active infill and construction projects
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments and client invoicing
- Prepare and manage client progress billings, draw packages, and invoicing schedules
- Oversee and process semi-monthly payroll with accuracy and compliance
- Maintain job costing, cost codes, PO tracking, and perform budget-to-actual reviews
- Oversee monthly GST reporting, filings, and government remittances
- Complete monthly bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations
- Prepare internal financial reports, cash-flow summaries, and project-level statements
- Work with external accounting partners to ensure accurate year-end reporting
- Maintain organized and detailed financial records in QuickBooks
- Provide ownership with financial insights, forecasting, and recommendations
Requirements

10-15+ years of bookkeeping experience in construction or infill development

Advanced QuickBooks experience (mandatory)

Strong understanding of:

Semi-monthly payroll processing
